WE TRAIN OURSELVES, TO CONTINUE GROWING!
Between January and February 2022, our NaturaCert staff will carry out a Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability Report and SMETA Evaluation course with the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce.
Social audits allow companies to assess their suppliers, monitor the health and safety of workers, and point to zero tolerance for human rights abuses such as child and forced labor.
SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is the most widely used social audit in the world.
SMETA is Sedex’s social audit methodology, which enables companies to assess their sites and suppliers to understand working conditions in their supply chain.
This will allow us to reinforce the Technical/Professional skills related to NaturaCert social audits, in addition, this training allows us to be up to date with the requirements demanded by the RAINFOREST ALLIANCE in its version of the 2020 standard.
SMETA is designed to help auditors deliver high-quality audits that cover all aspects of responsible business practice. It is also designed for providers to share an audit with multiple clients, meeting the requirements of many clients and reducing duplication and audit fatigue.
